August 4

Congratulations to all the participants, winners and teachers of the 2010 SYMF! All teacher envelopes containing the judges comments and proofs of age will be mailed out today.

Our offices will be closed from August 6 to 16. A much needed vacation!

July 21

The Festival is just a couple of days away! Here are some last minute tips:

- Parking is now $5. There is only one parking permit dispenser in parking lot 12 so it can get crowded with people standing in line for permits.
You may purchase parking permits from any dispenser, not just from the one in parking lot 12.

- Make sure that your student has original copies of the music for the judges and not photocopies.

- We have practice rooms available on a first come first served basis. Please be polite.

- If your student has been selected as one of the winners, he/she must attend the Awards Recital to receive their trophy. If they cannot make it,
you may have yourself, a family member, etc. accept the trophy for them. We will not give out trophies if you do not attend the Awards Recital.

- All decisions of the judges are final.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL YOUR STUDENTS!

July 20

We just received word that the parking fee at CSULB has raised from $4 to $5. Please notify your students of the change!
